Joe Westerman is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a loose forward or second-row for the Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Super League and the England Knights and England at international level.
He was born on November 15, 1989, in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England.
Westerman previously played for the Castleford Tigers, Hull F.C. in two separate spells, the Warrington Wolves in the Super League, and the Toronto Wolfpack in the Betfred Championship.
He burst onto the scene in 2007 in the Castleford Tigers National League One campaign after signing from junior club.
Recently, Westerman landed himself in great trouble after his video showing him performing an obscene act on someone’s wife went viral.
He was married at the time, and his wife, Lauren Westerman, shared the text messages her husband sent following the video sex scandal.
Despite the controversy, Westerman found new love after splitting with his wife.
In 2016, Westerman and Liam Watts were best pals growing up but became rivals at Wembley when they played against each other in the Challenge Cup final.
Joe Westerman alley knee video
Westerman was involved in a viral sex act controversy that caused a significant scandal.
The controversy began when a video surfaced showing Westerman engaging in a sex act with a woman in a public alleyway.
The video quickly went viral on social media, causing widespread attention and outrage.
The woman involved in the video was reportedly not Westerman’s wife.
The leaked video was also reportedly sent to Westerman’s wife, Lauren, before it was made public.
Lauren expressed her shock and devastation over the incident, stating that she had not spoken to her husband since the video emerged.
She also mentioned her concern for their children and the impact this scandal would have on them.
Following the initial controversy, another video emerged showing Westerman engaging in a different sex act in the same alleyway.
This further intensified the scandal and added to the public’s outrage. The woman involved in the second video has not been publicly identified.
The controversy surrounding Westerman’s involvement in these sex act videos has had significant consequences, including the loss of his wife’s trust and the potential impact on his career and public image.
Westerman was fined by his club, Castleford Tigers, after the initial clip emerged, and forced to issue a public apology.
He stated;
“Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly apologise to my family and friends for my actions
“I’d also like to apologise to the supporters, sponsors, staff, and directors of Castleford Tigers as well as my team-mates
“I’d like to extend this apology to the game of rugby league, and I have realised that I need to work on my decision-making around alcohol.”
